Alaska 48 Euro Flybridge / 2006

When it comes to coastal cruising you simply cant go past the Alaska 48, built in 2006 this prestigious coastal cruiser is second to none, comprising of 2 separate staterooms, the forward having a large double bed with access on both sides, plenty of storage, spring mattress and private head leading into a very cleverly designed shared shower stall. The mid cabin is larger than you would expect and has amazing headroom, full walk around bed with quality spring mattress, ample storage, private head and access to the shared shower stall. Both cabins can be closed off via their own doors for privacy.

Saloon: This is open and spacious and has pretty much unobstructed views outside, there are 2 comfortable lounges of which can be converted to make a 3rd double bed when friends or family drop in. The saloon also features Samsung, sound system, Wine Rack and Settee Table. All windows have block-out blinds to keep the sun out.

Galley: The galley to the port side and is fully functional with fridge, freezer, cooktop and microwave for all your cooking needs, there is also a huge underfloor storage / pantry for long range supplies, clever in dash storage areas and plenty of cupboards through-out.
Lower station: located across from the galley and features very good visibility from the helm, the dash is very well laid out and easy to read from the captains chair, navigation is provided by the upgraded Simrad Screen and Raymarine Radar systems, other systems include: Autopilot, Chain Counter, Bow Thruster, Raymarine VHF, Trim Tabs with level indicators, Electronic Engine Controls and much more

Engine Room: The power plants for the Alaska 48 are larger than the standard spec being 540hp Cummins QSC 8.3L Common Rail engines giving a cruise speed of 18 knots and max speed of around 24 knots WOT, the engine room is easily accessible via staircase in front of the double saloon doors, this engine room must be seen to be appreciated as it has so much space and everything is easy to get to for servicing, maintenance or just general inspection. To the aft of the Alaska 48 there is a very large Lazarette for storage and access to steering components etc.
Flybridge: This area creates another living area as well as a functional helm, with a large deck space for deck chairs and tables as well as storage for the tender with outboard and davit crane. The helm area is fully enclosed with clears and canvas rear. Access to the flybridge is via moulded staircase not a dangerous ladder like most boats have.
